ABOUT KARNA’S FOUNDATION

A registered non-profit under section 8(1) of Company Licence no. 112204, Karna's Foundation has the best and experienced leadership as well as volunteers and a large group of supporters who believe in the same values as the Foundation.

Our organisation aims to work towards a country where healthcare, education and happiness are easily available. We regularly work to organise various seminars and events, creating awareness in doctors and general public about new health scares.

We work towards providing accessible medical care to those in need, education for children from different backgrounds and legal support for the needy. Moreover, we train women to make them self sufficient and sustainable.

We are focusing on different sectors ranging from redistribution of food, old age homes to religious work, and are committed to the betterment of the less developed sections of our society by contributing immensely to community development.

Our team currently operates under the guidance of President awardee Shri RL Karna, who worked for years as a principal and is now an educationist, writer, singer, social activist and a corporate visionary. His rich experience is instrumental in his success in leading and mentoring others.

The organisation was started in September 2018 by a group of likeminded result oriented professionals, social activists and entrepreneurs who came together to work on the real issues that the marginalised sections face.

Through continuous and dedicated work, we have been able to build a school where 75 children get educated. When we started, it was a group of only 20 children with one teacher. Today, however, we have people joining us in our mission and spread our message all over the region.

We are also working on five other projects on environment, women rights, healthcare, treatment support for children and elders, etc.

Our endeavour is to focus on the growth and development of the underprivileged sections of our modern-day society. To accomplish this, we work closely with slum children, misguided youth, differently abled, aged, frail and poverty ridden people, and build a new life for them, providing them opportunities they are usually deprived of.

Message from the Chairman

Karna’s is not just a foundation, but a way of expressing gratitude to the society and giving back to it. It is the coming together of people who feel the need to take care of those who cannot take care of themselves. It is a sangam of idealistic individuals who are striving for the same standards of comfort and happiness for everyone. It is a way to bring about real change in our world.

The team behind Karna’s works like a family. These are professionals who bring their own experiences from their sectors and workplaces to the foundation and work with utmost dedication for a better future. The proactiveness of the team behind Karna’s is the main secret of our success.

Karna’s is not just working for better living conditions and providing healthcare and education. It is also creating employment for women and the young of our society. It is also active in the field of hygiene and sanitation, making sure no more lives are lost due to a lack of awareness.

Our team believes in core Indian values. We take care of our elders, underprivileged and differently abled. As an organisation working in the social sector, Karna’s is dedicated to spreading smiles all around.

All donations to Karna’s Foundation are tax deductible as per Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961.
